Mike Awesome hits a bulldog off the ropes. Ouch! Smiley just got flapjacked off the ropes through a table. Death valley driver (not to be confused with the DVD 500) by Mike Awesome connects and Norman Smiley is down! Pinfall attempt: ONE…TWO…NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Rude Awakening neckbreaker on Norman Smiley by Awesome. Remember when that was a legit finish? There’s a two count on the pin. Awesome walks into a drop toe hold. Running clothesline from Norman Smiley was actually MIGHTY sloppy. Norman Smiley hits an ugly looking bulldog off the ropes. Awesome reverses a waistlock. Big piledriver on Smiley. Mike Awesome moves in for the kill. Awesome Bomb!!! That shook the ring. 1….2….3!! Mike Awesome gives a murderous look toward Norman Smiley…and attacks! Smiley gets dropped to the canvas, then battered with a barrage of rights and lefts. Awesome leaves the ring having left Smiley down and out.

SEGMENT 1

Chris Candido and Tammy Sytch vs Billy Kidman and Torrie Wilson
Tammy uses a neckbreaker on Torrie. Flying dropkick from Tammy on Torrie gets a two count. Hooks the leg for a two count. Torrie Wilson once again takes the advantage after blocking a few punches and connecting with some forearms. Torrie Wilson hits some weak-looking punches in the corner, but Tammy Sytch is able to block them and return the favor in spades. Torrie Wilson DDTs Tammy in a move that is so poorly executed, you can actually see that Tammy Sytch’s head didn’t touch the mat at all. Torrie tags out to Billy Kidman. Flying elbow from Billy Kidman connects. Tammy pushes out of a Billy Kidman hold. Tag between Tammy Sytch and Chris Candido. Tammy \ Candido whip Kidman into the corner. Tammy Sytch whips Chris Candido in for a hard clothesline to follow-up. Big dropkick by Chris Candido, who got a ton of air on the move. There’s a two count on the pin. Doctor Bomb connects and Kidman landed hard. Candido tags out to Tammy Sytch. Side suplex from Tammy. Could have been done a hell of a lot better though. Hooks the leg! ONE…TWO…NO! Kidman backdrops Tammy Sytch out of a piledriver attempt. That took a lot out of Billy Kidman. Tag between Billy Kidman and Torrie Wilson. Flying dropkick from Torrie on Tammy gets a two count. Tammy Sytch is in trouble. Neckbreaker! 1….2….3. The fight has started up again! Tammy attacks Torrie, and they brawl all around ringside, then into the crowd! They eventually disappear backstage, still fighting.

Aftermath: Torrie and Tammy get into a post-match catfight. (Joey Styles even yelled, “CAAAAAAAAATFIIIIIIIIIGHT!”)

Eddie Guerrero vs Rob Van Dam
Second rope flying axe handle, RVD goes down. One day, Eddie might even consider coming off the top with that. You know…for more impact and stuff. Lightning kick by Eddie on RVD. Hooks the leg for a two count. RVD ducks a wild right hand. RVD just WAFFLES Eddie with a STIFF chop that hurt ME to watch! Second rope flying axe handle, Eddie goes down. One day, RVD might even consider coming off the top with that. You know…for more impact and stuff. Hooks the leg for a two count. Diamond Dust from Rob Van Dam, Eddie is out! Pinfall attempt: ONE…TWO…NO! Hard back suplex on Eddie. Come to think of it, that move had WAY too much power in No Mercy for N64. Eddie Guerrero comes up with a right hand out of nowhere. Flying cross body off the top rope! Hooks the leg for a two count. Back heel kick off the second rope, RVD goes down. Cover, ONE…TWO…NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Eddie uses a basement dropkick to the knee and it looks like it might be TIME TO GO TO SCHOOL~! Eddie Guerrero kicks the leg, knocks RVD down, and goes to work on it. RVD flips out of a Eddie Guerrero bodyslam attempt. Spin kick by Rob Van Dam to the face sends the opponent FLYING across the ring. SHINING WIZARD~! on Eddie by RVD! Eddie Guerrero gets knocked to the ground by RVD, who is already climbing the turnbuckle. Off the top – Five Star Frog Splash, forget about it. 1….2…3! Rob Van Dam goes into the crowd, where he celebrates his victory.

WCW Cruiserweight Championship
Chavo Guerrero, Jr. (c) vs. Rey Mysterio, Jr.
Spinning back kick from Rey Mysterio Jr.. Chavo Guerrero Jr. avoids a Rey Mysterio Jr. avalanche by getting out of the damn way! Dropkick connects to the butt of the jaw and Rey Jr. goes down. The ref is bumped, as goes down after accidentally getting caught by an elbow to the face. Back heel kick off the second rope and Rey Jr. goes flying! Hooks the leg, but the referee is still out! Rey Jr. backdrops Chavo Guerrero Jr. out of a piledriver attempt. That took a lot out of Rey Mysterio Jr.. Rey Jr. hits a dropkick on Chavo Guerrero Jr. and gets right back up. Springboard reverse elbow by Rey Mysterio Jr.. Excellent move. Looks like Muta has giving out lessons. There’s a two count on the pin. Tiger suplex on Chavo. No Misawa references from me, I swear. Oh, Bloody Hell! Pinfall attempt: ONE…TWO…NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Rey Jr. charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. Flying cross body off the top rope! Hooks the leg! ONE…TWO…NO! Chavo walks into a drop toe hold. Chavo Guerrero Jr. gets whipped into the corner by Rey Jr., who charges in with a clothesline. Chavo grabs the referee and pulls him in the way! The referee calls for the DQ as he collapses to the mat in pain. Chavo Guerrero Jr. gets out of the ring, picks up his title belt, and walks off, having taken the cheap way out. Chavo Guerrero Jr. leaves the ring and heads off down the aisle. Chavo obviously didn’t want any more of a beating tonight.
Winner: Rey Mysterio by DQ (Chavo Guerrero retains title)

Deadly Ministry vs Road Warriors vs Steiner Brothers vs Mamalukes
Big kick from Hawk staggers Bro. Ray but that’s about it. Road Warrior Hawk DDTs Bro. Ray, but it just looked terrible. Hawk tags out to Johnny The Bull. BIG clothesline on Bro. Ray. STIFF~! chop lights up Bro. Ray who covers up to try and stop the agonizing PAIN! Tag to Big Vito. Vito scoops and slams Brother Ray. What’s the difference between a scoop slam and a body slam anyway? BAAACK Body drop by Bro. Ray gets a bit of a pop from the crowd. Bro. Ray counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Big Vito charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Tag between Brother Ray and Reverend Devon. Death valley driver (not to be confused with the DVD 500) by Reverend Devon connects and Big Vito is down! Cover gets three for Reverend Devon, Vito got pinned. Weak bodyslam on Rev. Devon by Poppa Pump sets up a legdrop. Poppa Pump DDTs Reverend Devon. Pinfall attempt: ONE…TWO…NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Tag between Scott Steiner and Rick Steiner. Steiner Brothers hook up Rev. Devon, then hit a double suplex. Rick Steiner hits a shaky delayed suplex on Rev. Devon. If I were Rev. Devon, I’d be too hesistant to let someone like that pick me up over their head. Pinfall attempt: ONE…TWO…NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Rev. Devon kicks Rick Steiner in the gut to reverse the momentum. Tag between Reverend Devon and Road Warrior Animal. Weak bodyslam on Steiner by Animal sets up a legdrop. Flapjack from Animal on Steiner. Animal tags out to Road Warrior Hawk. Road Warriors whip Steiner into the ropes and hit a double clothesline. Cover gets three for Road Warrior Hawk, Steiner got pinned. Road Warrior Hawk strikes Brother Ray with a hard blow. Road Warrior Hawk hits a sloppy double axe handle off the top. Bro. Ray ducks a wild right hand. Road Warrior Hawk charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Massive backbreaker on Hawk and I get happy flashbacks to Bret Hart’s Five Moves of DOOM. Covers for a quick two count. Tag between Brother Ray and Reverend Devon. Big piledriver on Hawk. Hawk backdrops Reverend Devon out of a piledriver attempt. That took a lot out of Road Warrior Hawk. Tag between Road Warrior Hawk and Road Warrior Animal. Sloppy discus punch from Road Warrior Animal barely connects on Rev. Devon. Hooks the leg! ONE…TWO…NO! Reverend Devon takes a right hand to the temple from Animal. Road Warrior Animal gets taken down out of nowhere! Animal takes a headbutt from Reverend Devon. Road Warrior Animal is in trouble. Bubba Bomb!!! That shook the ring. 1….2….3!!

Sting walks into a jaw breaker. Sting pushes out of a Bret Hart hold. Hitman hits a punch, but takes one right back. Again! A slugfest erupts in the ring! Sting hits a right hand on Bret Hart. Running clothesline from Sting was actually MIGHTY sloppy. Bret Hart fights out of a grapple. Reverse DDT on Sting. Delayed BRAINBUSTAH~! by Hitman who held onto that one for ages. Bodyslam by Hitman. Sting powers out of a headlock. Hitman gets splashed in the corner. Sting scores with a poor standing spinebuster. Sting has Bret Hart down…and locks in the Scorpion Deathlock for the submission victory! Sting is still in the ring celebrating. Bret Hart pushes the referee away. Bret Hart drops Sting to the canvas. Bret Hart quickly locks on the Sharpshooter!
Winner: Sting
Aftermath: Bret Hart attacks Sting.

Shane Douglas (c) vs. Diamond Dallas Page
Diamond Dallas Page hits Douglas. Frying pan shot by DDP. Douglas takes a vertical suplex, but pops right back up. Douglas gets splashed in the corner. Douglas flips out of a Diamond Dallas Page bodyslam attempt. Frying pan shot by Douglas. Spinebuster by Shane Douglas. Covers for a quick two count. Diamond Dallas Page once again takes the advantage after blocking a few punches and connecting with some forearms. Diamond Dallas Page DDTs Douglas, but it just looked terrible. Covers for a quick two count. Diamond Dallas Page scores with a poor standing spinebuster. Hooks the leg! ONE…TWO…NO! DDP charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. Shane Douglas slides to the outside and grabs a chair, then climbs back into the ring. DDP turns around…and gets planted with a huge chair shot to the head! He is left down and out on the canvas.

Uninspired brawling from Randy Savage. Randy Savage launches Hogan into the cage wall. Savage climbs the cage…but Hollywood Hulk Hogan is in hot pursuit, and they both end up back on the canvas. Randy Savage with a badly-executed spinning neckbreaker on Hogan. One more performed that badly and this match will end on a bad note, if you get my drift. Hogan gets splashed in the corner. Hogan backdrops Randy Savage out of a piledriver attempt. That took a lot out of Hollywood Hulk Hogan. Hollywood Hulk Hogan drives Savage into the cage side. BIG clothesline from Hogan. ‘BIG’ because it missed by a mile! Hollywood Hulk Hogan climbs the cage, but gets pulled down by Savage! Randy Savage reverses a hip toss. Randy Savage hits an ugly looking bulldog off the ropes. Randy Savage turns Hogan inside-out with a clothesline. Reminds me of Willow’s ‘Bored Now’ skin ripping finisher. Inside joke, don’t worry about it. Hogan counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. BORING ass brawling from Hogan. Savage ducks a wild right hand. Randy Savage and Hogan climb the cage….but both end up crashing back to the canvas after a struggle! Randy Savage strikes Hollywood Hulk Hogan with a hard blow. Side suplex from Hogan. Could have been done a hell of a lot better though. Hollywood Hulk Hogan goes to leave the cage by the door…but Bret Hart appears at ringside and slams the door on his head! Savage takes the opportunity, and climbs out the door for the win! Bret Hart remains in the ring. Hollywood Hulk Hogan pushes the referee away. Hollywood Hulk Hogan floors Hitman. Hollywood Hulk Hogan signals – Legdrop Of Doom!
Winner: Randy Savage by interference from Bret Hart.
Aftermath: Hogan gets revenge on Hart.

Jericho counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face and hit a clothesline! Hard impact Russian Leg Sweep by Jericho. According to some other reviewers around here, ‘legsweep’ is one word. Low blow on Benoit! Chris Jericho has Chris Benoit down on the canvas. Here it comes – Lion Sault, forget about it. 1….2…3! Chris Jericho slides to the outside and grabs a chair, then climbs back into the ring. Benoit turns around…and gets planted with a huge chair shot to the head! He is left down and out on the canvas.
